Group Support & Skills Sessions
Support, skills, and space to be human
Service Description
Group Support and Skills Sessions offer a shared space for connection, learning, and mutual support. These groups are peer led and grounded in lived experience, recovery informed practices, and practical wellness tools that can be used in everyday life. Groups are designed for students and community members seeking support, structure, and skills in a setting that is relational, respectful, and non judgmental. Sessions may include guided discussions, grounding and regulation practices, skill building activities, and opportunities to reflect and learn alongside others. The focus is not on fixing or diagnosing, but on building awareness, strengthening capacity, and reducing isolation through connection. Groups may be recurring or offered as short series. Some groups are open to both students and non students, while others may be designed for specific communities or needs. All group offerings prioritize emotional safety, shared respect, and participant choice. Group sessions are offered on a sliding scale to increase access and reduce financial barriers. Participants are invited to select the pricing option that best fits their current situation. No explanation is required. These groups are not therapy or clinical treatment. They are peer support and wellness focused spaces intended to complement, not replace, other forms of care. Capacity is intentionally limited to support meaningful connection and facilitate a supportive group environment. Groups may be held virtually or in person depending on the offering.
